We finally get to ride the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 on the road and Rishaad Mody goes
on a long ride to experience what this bike has to offer in the real world..

After Shumi's ride at the Buddh International Circuit, Varun is getting up close and personal with the Gixxer SF 250 in the urban jungle. Making his way through the twisties, spending some time on the highway, we took it to where it will be ridden the most, the city. Does the SF 250 live up to the promise of a versatile machine or is something missing?

Suzuki Gixxer 250 is here but can it take on the beast from ktm, which is duke 250 and also the affordable Yamaha R15 V3, find out in this video. Hope you like it.

well, the gixxer is a popular series of Suzuki not in India only but worldwide with those big cc bikes.
the gixxer 250 has the same power level as the HONDA CBR 250R.

Mileage (ARAI)38.5 kmpl
Engine TypeOil Cooled, Single Cylinder, 4-Valve, SOHCDisplacement249 ccNo. of Cylinders
1Max Power26.5 PS @ 9000 rpm
Max Torque22.6 Nm @ 7500 rpm

Rear brake:- disc
Fuel Capacity12 L
Body TypeS ports Bikes

well, let's talk about the power figures of the Suzuki gixxer 250.

well the power levels of Suzuki gixxer 250 is not the most powerful bike but not the least powerful bike.
it has got some decent power levels. this bike is the replacement for the HONDA CBR250R and this is totally my opinion.

this bike is good for the city and also you can enjoy it on the highway. you will not be overwhelmed with is outrageous power because this bike does not have it. the reason being to cut the price.

well, when it comes to price-cutting Suzuki hasn't cut down on quality. the quality of the bike is very good and not like those 1.68 lacks monster edition 155cc bike. (If you know what I mean).

well, let's get this out of the way.

Now for the touring people, this bike is a very good option. the milage of this bike is around 35-37 KMPL.

well I know the milage factor doesn't affect many motorcycle enthusiasts people, and if you buy the bike like of 250cc you cannot expect mileage from those bikes.

and if you want to tour with some more powerful machine you can take a look at  KTM DUKE 790.
this is a powerful option for you power-hungry guys. now let's get back to Suzuki gixxer 250.

the gixxer 250 look sharp and attractive for the most part.

now let compare this to the people's favorite THE DUKE 200.

If you drag to bikes then obviously the gixxer can outperform the duke due to more 1.5 ps of power.

but if you are planning that you will use the bike for 2 years and then sell it the price of the gixxer will not be great but if it's a DUKE then the resell price is good hope you got it, buddy.

and then the Yamaha R15 v3.

well, the Yamaha r15 v3 is a good bike except for its build quality. I mean it's not fragile but it is also not rugged but it's ok.

well if you want looks and decent performance then you should go for R15 and decent looks and decent performance(according to 250cc) go for gixxer 250.

well if you want my opinion then I will choose the Yamaha R15 v3 why you will ask, well i just wanna good looking bike and the power I mean com on its a 150cc engine which produces 19 bhp of power I think this is the only 150cc bike which produce this kind of power, I mean there is Yamaha mt-15 but hey its a Yamaha product only.

Well, Suzuki is been out of the 250cc segment in India and after a long time, they have finally launched their new bike. the gixxer 250 is a bike which mostly competes with the Fazer 25 the honda CBR 250r and also the Yamaha r15v3.

the gixxer 250 has the same power level as the HONDA CBR 250R.

So what will be the maintenance of this bike?

the maintenance of this bike should be under 3,000 ehy because its Suzuki, not honda where even the CBR150R servicing cost goes up to 5,000 RUPEES!!.

I hope this review has helped you rather than fun review.
